Georges Vigouroux
Georges Vigouroux
Founded in 1887, Maison Georges Vigouroux was a pioneer in wines of from the south west of France. This family owned company, now in it's 4th generation, produces a range of Cahor and Malbec wines from their four wineries as well as running an Agrotourism business incorporating the Chateau De Mercues Hotel and a Michelin starred restaurant.
Georges Vigouroux awarded Gold & Silver at the Global Malbec Masters 2022
Our wines came under specific praise from the Patrick Schmitt MW, the Editor-in-chief of The Drink Business and organizer of the Masters who writes "... this year, it was the wines of Georges Vigouroux that shone". He also suggests that "Malbec deserves an upward revision of its reputation, judging by the Malbecs from both southwest France and Mendoza". Who are we to disagree?
